Since 1977, Ketcham’s Sheep Equipment has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing the best quality equipment, and providing you the best service to ensure you get the best buy for your hard-earned dollars. Ketcham’s Equipment is manufactured in the U.S. with U.S. steel and we support American industries. It hasn’t always been easy, but our commitment to performance, quality,  and service is #1. We have developed most of our equipment through the years of experience of knowing what sheep will do (or what they won’t do) by our hands-on research and testing on our own sheep operation.

 

       Kim started raising and showing sheep in 1963 at age 10.  He worked extensively for Heggemeier Sheep Farm from 1967 to 1974, helping fit and show sheep for the various shows and sales. Kerry & Katie also followed in his footsteps and showed for many years.  We still raise Suffolk sheep along with manufacturing sheep handling equipment.

 

       Before a new piece of our equipment is introduced, it must be tested at home with all our sheep (rams, ewes, and lambs). Any necessary changes are made at this time, before it is ready for production. We want the equipment to be sturdy and safe for our animals and yours, but it must be especially safe for the user-that’s you!

 

We’ve seen a lot of changes in the sheep industry, but there’s one thing you can be sure of - Ketcham’s Sheep Equipment will be here in the years to come, with new products to bring about the continued progress in the sheep industry.
